The PanaFlow XMT1000 ultrasonic flow transmitter for liquids combines state-of-the-art flow measurement capability with a low-cost transmitter package that can be installed right at the process measurement point. The XMT1000 features both local and remote mount options and carries appropriate certification for installation in hazardous (classified) locations commonly found in petrochemical and chemical processing environments. With configurable inputs and outputs, the electronics package simplifies communication with the DCS or PLC and provides more flexibility to add complimentary measurements, such as inputs from a temperature or pressure transmitter. The XMT1000 supports one, two, or three ultrasonic transducer paths for improved accuracy and added redundancy depending on the application requirements.
